At Lake Erie Sports Alliance (LESA), our vision for the future revolves around fostering a thriving grassroots house league hockey program that not only nurtures a love for the sport but also serves as a cornerstone for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in hockey. We aspire to create an inclusive environment where every child in Erie, PA, regardless of their background, can access and enjoy the game of hockey. Our vision is to see the community come together, united by the passion for the sport, building strong foundations for our young athletes, and instilling values that extend beyond the rink.

To realize our vision, LESA adopts a comprehensive approach. We plan to invest in top-tier coaching and training, ensuring that our young athletes receive the highest level of instruction and mentorship. Additionally, we will actively engage with local schools, communities, and families to identify and overcome barriers to participation. Through need-based scholarships and collaborative partnerships, we aim to make hockey accessible to all, irrespective of economic or social factors. Our approach extends beyond the ice, focusing on character development, teamwork, and life skills, instilling in our players the qualities that will serve them well both on and off the rink.
